My name’s Matthew and I’m a franchise partner here at Michel’s Patisserie, Keilor Central, alongside my mum and twin brother. I’ve been a barista for 16 years and I love seeing customers happy when I serve them up that perfect cup of coffee every day.
The biggest challenge for us during these difficult times would be trying to stay positive, for our customers especially, to reassure them that we have got the right procedures in place, and to make them feel safe and welcome.
In my perspective, it didn’t really affect us as much as I thought it would but that’s a big thank you to our customers for supporting us this whole time, taking the time to come into our store, making sure that we are okay and having a cup of coffee. Massive thank you to them, without them, we wouldn’t be where we are today.
