Green Gully Soccer Club Local Sponsorship
Keilor Central Shopping Centre is very excited to announce our partnership with Green Gully Soccer Club. During these challenging times, we need a constant reminder of how resilient our community can be. GGSC with its proud history, has been an institutional touchstone for over 65 years. The club has won the Victorian State League Title nine times and is an inspiration to many. Membership not only provides opportunities for young players, GGSC is also a much loved ‘home away home,’ for locals of all ages. A place where, we can all come together and support one another, on and off the pitch.
Through our sponsorship we are able to contribute to the club in a number of positive ways. Including, providing the Under 12’s with new uniforms and fee assistance. Keilor Central believes that by supporting other important social centres, we will ensure the area remains vibrant and connected. Potentially drawing people from all over Melbourne and encouraging them to shop, play and explore everything that we have to offer. Green Gully Soccer Club is one of the most popular clubs in the region and Keilor Central is one of the most popular shopping destinations. It was inevitable that these two teams would make a winning combination.’ Daniela Valencia, Marketing Coordinator commented.
Keilor Central and owners Fort Street Real Estate are at the forefront of environmentally friendly retail solutions. In fact, we have installed a 270,000kW rooftop solar power system. This equates to 289 tonnes of CO2 removed from the atmosphere, or the equivalent of 70 cars being taken off the road each year. That's enough to power almost 74 homes.
Fort Street Real Estate is so committed to sustainable practices that they are planning to roll out similar projects in conjunction with Energy Aware across other retail centres right around the country.
Energy Aware's project manager Mack Thomas is proud of his company's contribution to this fast growing and important industry. Mack provides a tailored approach to his clients, over 6,000 and growing, that helps guide each and every one to a more sustainable future.
